Congratulations to our Cross-Country team! With the guidance of Coach Janet Blanchard, we earned four ribbons at the PVML Invitational last night: Nick Slowikowski 12th place, Asher Wall 11th place for their race; Julia Rose 16th place and Capri Jonah 1st place for their race. Our whole team should be proud of improved times and the sportsmanship that was demonstrated at the meet. Both the student athletes and our student volunteers did a fantastic job representing our school and our core values.

A message from the Town Office:
For the past 18 months, the Town of Orrington has been working with Spectrum to expand internet access to all roads in town. The project, known as “The Last Mile”, has finally reached completion. If you wish to connect to the internet through Spectrum, you may visit their website at Spectrum.com, click on “Spectrum Internet for your Home” and enter your street address in the search bar to verify that connectivity can be established. If you find that your address is not currently serviceable, please contact Town Manager, Chris Backman to let him know. He can be reached at manager@orrington.org or 207-825-3340, ext. 6.

Center Drive School is starting a Volleyball Club for grades 5-8. We are planning on meeting in the school gym on Mondays and Wednesdays from 3:15 PM - 4:30 PM. Our sessions will run during the fall and spring, to work around the basketball season. If weather prevents school sports from practicing outside, they will need to use the gym so our session for that day will be canceled. If your student is interested in signing up for Volleyball Club, please be sure they have had a physical with their doctor and the paperwork is submitted to the office. Students will be able to sign up in the gym if they would like to join. If you have any questions please feel free to reach out at J.Silliboy@cdsedu.org or A.Hill@cdsedu.org.
Thank you,
Jess Silliboy

We had a fantastic first day! Thank you, parents for all of your support at Center Drive. We had phone calls at the end of the day regarding cars parked along the sides of the road and the parking lot, making it challenging for other cars to pass through. Please help us keep everyone safe and use our parking lot when picking up students at the end of the day.
